My Papsy

The last time I saw my papsy (yeah, this is what I call my dad) tears were falling into his face, maybe because one of her darling daughter is leaving far away from them... I was so touched that time, although I'm happy that the waiting was over (coming here to canada) sadness was also there... I am not used being away from my family, the very first time was when I went to Indonesia for a six months vacation but It's like 6 years away from them.

Pinalaki kami ni papsy in a good and Godly way. Naalala ko pa nun mga bata kami uuwi siya from work na may dala laging pasalubong and sampaguita (para sa altar namin). My dad is so faithful, he will never missed going to church every Sunday and finds time to read his Bible every single moment. Masarap din magluto ang papsy ko, when mom is tired siya yung magluluto, specialty niya yung sisig and dininding (mixed veggies). He even washes our clothes when mom is so exhausted. I didn't hear my dad fight with my mom even though there are times na nagna-nag si mama (u know women, hehe), never niya sinaktan si mama and until now makikita mo pa din yung love niya for her.

Thank you Lord for giving me such a loving, humble and responsible father.
